Questions
What counts as a recast?
Any time someone else makes something from a post you published. They can recreate it, use it as a reference, or turn it into a video. Every recast counts, including repeats by the same person. Your own don't.
How much is in the pool?
$200 a week to start, and it grows as Studios does. The pool is funded by Claw Hunter and by a share of the $CLAWHUNTER creator fees. Each pool runs Monday to Sunday (UTC), and a new one starts every Monday.
How is it split?
The pool pays out once a day, for the day before. Your share comes from how many times your posts were recast that day. A recast someone paid for earns up to 5× a free one, and never more than they spent on it.
How much does one recast pay?
It depends on how busy the day is. A free recast pays up to 5¢ and a paid one up to 25¢.
How do I cash out?
Two ways, from the Creator Rewards tab in your account. Turn earnings into credits and they land right away. Or send them to your Solana wallet in USDC, once they are 7 days old and add up to $2 or more. Wallet payouts are reviewed before they are sent.
How do I start earning?
Publish a post from My Media. Every published post can earn, and there is nothing to apply for.
What doesn't count?
Recasts you make of your own posts, recasts by people who aren't signed in, and generations that fail. A post that is unpublished or removed stops earning.
What happens if I unpublish a post?
You keep everything it earned. It stops earning from then on.
